In the loud and crowded furniture and retail market of the fourth largest city in the country, IKEA Houston needed a way to not only compete with locally entrenched stores, but also expand and broaden their customer base. Through targeted messaging and focussing on the specific needs of consumers, IKEA has been able to highlight their wide breadth of highly stylish products and ultimately the host of thoughtful solutions each provides.
Freed won two awards from the 2012 Houston American Marketing Association Crystal Awards, which honors marketing work based on measurable results. Freed won Best Newspaper Ad for Imperial Sugar's November 2011 free-standing insert (FSI) and Best Business-to-Consumer (B2C) Campaign for Aliana's Grand Opening.
The web experts at Freed have created a brand new website for master-planned community Firethorne. Showcasing the budding community's picturesque splendor and featuring a fully searchable inventory of available homes, the new www.firethorne.info is sure to spark loads of interest and inspiration.
For our client Aliana, we recently reinvented the model home showcase, incorporating themed backyards to create a fun and memorable experience. The food was amazing, the spirits were flowing and guests were treated to a variety of decorated yards that included a Sports Bar/Man Cave, Zen Garden and Italian Kitchen, among others.
This summer, a pack of eager young upstarts will be joining the agency as part of the Freed AdVenture Camp program. Drawing upon the approximately 364 years of combined experience at Freed, our scrappy campers will embark on their ad career journey, gaining invaluable experience working on a fun project for an actual client!
We are a team comprised of art directors, designers, writers, strategists and leaders who develop result-driven and award-winning ideas for local, regional, national and global clients.

With the housing market in flux, it has become more and more important for communities to differentiate themselves and stand out in the landscape. This is even more true with a new community entering an established area. Aliana not only needed to garner the attentions of potential homebuyers, but also the Builders and Realtors as well.
Aliana jumped in with both feet, featuring something beyond simply a collection of amenities and facilities. Instead, the Aliana community offers more than a new place to live - Aliana offers a new way of life
