Most of the books were donated to freed from the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University. The bulk of the library is built out of pieces of collections from Dean Bob Sterling (founding Dean of Rice’s business school) and from Dean Gil Whitaker (the former dean who led the Rice program to national prominence and who passed away two years ago).
